Dr Claire TANSLEY

Dr Claire Tansley is the Senior Sector Manager for the EPSRC Construction, Environment and Water sector team. This team seeks to develop stronger links between EPSRC, academia, industry and other research users in the Construction, Environment and Water sectors. Claire is also a Portfolio Manager in the EPSRC Engineering Team, where she looks after EPSRC’s research portfolio in ground engineering, waste management and contaminated land. Claire is the co-ordinator for the EPSRC Sustainable Urban Environment Programme. Before joining EPSRC seven years ago, Claire studied for a PhD in meteorology and then worked as a postdoctoral research assistant in physical oceanography.
